Welcome to The Dog House. These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Welcome to The Dog House website, Friendly Acres content, community features, The Dog House General Store, and related services.
By using this website or purchasing through The Dog House General Store, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to any applicable policies presented on the website or during checkout.
1. ABOUT THE DOG HOUSE
The Dog House is an online community and creative website centered around rescue animals, stories, education, entertainment, Friendly Acres, and The Dog House General Store.
The Dog House is not an animal shelter, rescue organization, veterinary provider, adoption agency, or emergency service.
Information provided on this website is intended for general educational and entertainment purposes and should not replace professional veterinary, medical, legal, financial, or other qualified advice.
2. THE DOG HOUSE GENERAL STORE
The Dog House General Store offers merchandise through our online store.
Products, checkout, payment processing, shipping, order management, production, and fulfillment may be provided through Shopify, Printify, payment processors, shipping carriers, print providers, and other service providers.
Additional store policies presented during shopping or checkout—including our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy—apply to purchases made through The Dog House General Store.
3. PRODUCTS, AVAILABILITY, AND PRICING
We do our best to present product descriptions, images, pricing, colors, sizing information, and availability accurately.
Because many products are made to order or produced and fulfilled by third-party providers, availability, production times, shipping rates, product specifications, colors, placement, and other details may occasionally vary or change.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, change prices, or discontinue products when necessary.
If an order is affected by an obvious pricing, listing, or technical error, The Dog House reserves the right to cancel the affected order. If payment has already been collected for an order we cancel for this reason, the affected amount will be refunded.
4. RETURNS, EXCHANGES, REFUNDS, AND PRODUCT PROBLEMS
Returns, exchanges, damaged or defective products, misprints, incorrect items, cancellations, refunds, and other purchase-related matters are governed by The Dog House Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy displayed through our store.
Customers should contact The Dog House before mailing merchandise to our business mailing address. Merchandise should not be returned unless The Dog House specifically requests a return and provides instructions.
Please review applicable store policies before placing an order.
5. TALES BEHIND THE TAILS AND COMMUNITY SUBMISSIONS
Visitors may voluntarily submit stories, pet information, photographs, milestone information, and other content through Tales Behind the Tails or other community features.
You should only submit content that you have the right to share.
Submitting information does not automatically give The Dog House permission to publish your story or photographs publicly. When publication permission is requested, we will rely on the permission you provide with your submission.
We may choose whether, when, and how an approved submission appears on The Dog House or within Friendly Acres.
6. FRIENDLY ACRES AND CREATIVE CONTENT
Friendly Acres, its stories, characters, locations, recurring features, written content, graphics, branding, and other original creative materials are part of The Dog House creative world.
Unless otherwise stated, content from this website may be enjoyed and shared through ordinary website or social-media links for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, sold, republished, presented as someone else's work, or used commercially without permission where such permission is required by law.
Third-party names, trademarks, music, images, or other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
7. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
Our website may contain links to websites or services operated by other companies.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, policies, security, privacy practices, or operations of third-party websites or services.
When you leave The Dog House website or use a third-party service, that provider's own terms and policies may apply.

We hope The Dog House is always open for wandering, but websites occasionally need a nap. 🐾
We do not guarantee that every page, feature, product, link, or service will always be available without interruption.
We may update, change, add, suspend, or remove website content, products, features, or services as The Dog House and Friendly Acres grow.
